Hi, I'm Macks and I've been spriting for about two years.
I haven't made much recently, but upon one of your members recommendations, I've decided to post some of my work here.

he provided the initial design and base for the armor, which was of course edited by me.

Yes, and it's a completely pointless rating to give someone. It doesn't really mean anything, or prove anything. If it means anything, it would mean someone thinks your sprites are better then their's. Actually, a good example is how a high post count doesn't mean you're competent. A high PWN rating doesn't mean you're really good at spriting in the same manner. :P

Ahem, but enough about that.

I think the cross sitting sprite is probably the best I've seen from you, Macks. :)

I'd be more impressed by Void's armor if he didn't have such simple poses. :P (Especially considering you only made the ready stance...) Try something more dynamic.

I think the shading on the Dragon's wings could use some work. Wings are suppose to be flat, but these are kinda puffy. Kinda hard to describe I suppose. The Dragon's outline is quite good though.

The Chibi could use some work in the shading department. (The right arm is a little pillowy even.) The hair is also a bit flat, some skin tones could fix that up though. I also think his eyes could be bigger, nose smaller, and head a little rounder... Also, I don't think his body has enough depth. (It could be because the shirt is so plain, folds could help.)

Either way, good job!

Getting around to C+C:

On the dragon, are we seeing the inside of the wings? If so, you might want to reverse the shading, because it looks like they're puffing up towards us (is that what you meant, BBD?). The rest is fantastic, though.

On the gravestone... damn. The only thing I can find wrong is that you may want to add more to the shadow. Great work.

On the chibi, I agree with BBD, and I think the eyes just look wierd in general. To narrow, and lacking pupils and that cutish, huge, chibi aspect.

Empty Voids alright, but the poses are a bit limited.

It's good, Yeah, but The shines on the nose don't realy fit were they are, and Try to blend in the colors a bit more ..
