Ok, so I dowloaded RPG Maker XP and decided to start on a project. It's about this group called the Maurauders, who stop the forces of evil. Cliche, huh? There's a twist. They completly destroy the area area after they're done. Whilst entering a cave, they come upon the almighty weapon know as the "Infinity Release", hence the title. Unfortunately, they are attacked by a giant monster known as "The Creature of Infinity". The Maurauders are beaten, and only their leader remains. She wakes up in a small village, and starts setting out to get the group back together, and defeat the Creature of Infinity.

Did you make the graphics in the game?

Naw, it'd take too long. I used the graphics that came with the actual software.

It would be better if you made them. And it looks good but I don't really like the battles.

Well, there's no other way to make them.

I thought there was but can you change the battle type?

I looked through; but there doesn't seem to be a way.

Interesting execution so far.

I got a few questions:
-I'm also guessing that the project had just started? (If not, when did it start?)
-Got anybody else helping you with this? (If yes, who's involved, what's their positions, and what's yours?)
-Do you plan on changing the codes for some of the original system engines? (Example: changing the battle system from RMXP's default engine?)
-Is there going to be a more descriptive project outline avaiable anytime soon?
-Are there going to be a website available for this project?
-In rating from 1-10 ( 10 = yes / 5 = depends on varios things / 1 = no ) do you think this project will be completed?
-If the answer is different than '1', how long you think the project will take to complete?

I don't mean to seem suspicious or an @$$ trying to see if you're fake or anything like that, I'm just interested in more information if that's alright by you. :x
The last RMXP project I've seen was based on 3 people - not sure what it's called, but it turned out pretty good (I ended up playing it for hours :P ). I think they've hosted their game on RPG Maker Infinity or something like that (I'll look later).
Not bad on the execution though, I wish you luck on the production of the game. :P

Edit: Posts came in while i was making this post >_<;
I've removed/modified some questions.

Edit: There's a way to change the battle engine, but you must put the codes in yourself. There are instructions and sources around the net that can provide these for you.

1. Yes, it just did.
2. Well, I would ask, but I'm afraid they might say no.
3. I would, if I knew anything about the actual scripting engine.
4. I'm sorry, I'm not sure what a project outline is.
5. Maybe.
6. 5/10. I might not be able to work on it because of school.
7.I'm not sure, might take awhile.

A project outline would be like:
-Character Informations/Bios
-The Basic (or In Depths) Story Plots
-Game engine ideas and wants
-Different ideas and concepts that may be used in the project
-**other related materials**

Since you're not really going to rely on the artworks and the project doesnt seem to give much on original arts, it skips a lot of things such as concept arts, artworks, background concepts, etc.

Well, I'll try to do an outline soon, when I figure out how to make the damn events work.

Lol...

Alright. Well, here's some sources that may help you out with a few things:

http://crankeye.com/
Got a few simple resources, outdated version of RPG Maker XP and a few tools.
http://www.phylomortis.com/
One of the biggest RMXP Sources around, and they link to multiple other sources, so this is something you should look at. They also provide codes and tutorials here - may help you out with the events and variables.
http://rubyforge.org/
This one can help you a lot on the engine itself and some of the codings. With RPG Maker's RSS core, it enables a very wide range of capabilities in which the previous RPG Makers lacked. If it were up to me on another RMXP project, I'd put this to good use. (They even provide some methods to make your RPG Maker project an online multiplayer game).
http://www.rpgmaker.net/
Got some good resources, tutorials, tools, previews and codes to work with. I used to come here very often as a noob to RMXP and they got me started pretty quickly.

Well, those are a few that I normally looked through for RMXP. I cant find the coding forum that i used to go to, but once I do, I'll gladly host the link. The programmers there are pretty [nerdy?] big brainers, and got quite a bit of interesting codes and mods for RMXP.

There's a script allowing for side- and front- view battles. Unfortuneately, I got there one day late and you now have to be a member to get at the scripts. Ah, well, the site is here. (http://www.rmxpu.net/forums/)

Thank you for the links.
Also, I updated my first post to show the first winnable boss battle.

Yes, there is a way to change the graphics. I forgot how though. I think you got to know ruby or at least find some tutorials. I know there are some out there, I've seen them.
