Old Fashioned cartoon? Powerpuff Girls is hardly what I would call "old-fashioned", it's about as modren as a cartoon can get! Now if this was an anime based on Gertie the Dinosaur...

I think he is mistaken this for a new Powerpuff Girls movie, when it is in fact a TV series. You can bet it will get a release over here, if only to try and revive the francises' popurality. It's certianly quite odd, but this anime adaptation could of been a lot worse; at least hey gave it it's own visual style and rather slick animation, rather than just making it look like Sailor Moon, or something.

Oh, and the Powerpuff Girls movie wasn't that bad, it just wasn't quite as funny as the series is all.

(Don't look at me like that. PPG was one of the better original series' to come out of Cartoon Network and it's creator, Craig McCracken, is awesome. I'd love to hunt down the festival films he did before it, such as the No Neck Joe series, and the short that became the PPG pilot episode, called Whoopass Stew)

I'm apathetic to the idea.
I like the cartoon, haven't seen the movie, and I doubt I'll see this anime remake any time soon, but I'm not going to get in a sulk over it.

I don't like it. PPG were fun because they were little girls that kick ass, everybody knew them and they still tryed to have a normal life.
I like the new outfits but I don't like the Sailor Moon style transformation.
However... I would like to watch an anime featuring the PPGirls as adults…

First of all, let's talk about your skill at forming sentences. You basically said "Nobody likes old school cartoons and nobody likes old school cartoons."

That statement is not only grammatically stupid and untrue, but completely irrelevant. It's a thread about a new anime and a relatively modern cartoon.

And really, don't post "Lock it" in a dieing topic. Because, you know, it would have died anyway, unless people have relevant things to say. If they do, there's no reason for them not to post.
