Gun vs Sword battle!

So I spent sometime on Sunday colouring this piece up and I'm particularly happy with how it came out. I liked the way the colouring on the scarf came out as well as the mixture between grey and red. Anyway link to the piece.

And I'd especially be grateful if anyone can tell me how to do colouring with black for leather clothing! tis be a hard one for me to crack...as for improvement, I may give a far bolder and darker outline to the characters if I update this picture (and some sort of a background)

I give it 4/5 it's not bad. It's far better than me, but I give you that rating because I know some people who are drawing like gods. They're drawing are professional-like lol.

Quite a nice drawing, Aki. Not quite sure where the pink's coming from, but it somehow looks balanced with it. You did a wonderful job with this.

Azn @ hmmm so then, what would you say I should improve? colouring? structure? shading? etc etc don't plan to use photoshop either, prefer colouring pencils and paint myself.

4.5/5 I love it, the only small qualm I have about it is that the lines need to be more defined, I find that pencil lines get lost in the picture after you colour it in. Maybe going over it again with a black pencil?

I have a slightly off topic question. Why do people always rate things, whether people request it or not?

Anyway, I like it without bold outlines, turp.' I think a piece is generally better with implied edges instead of actual edges. It's a matter of opinion though, so please don't say they need to be, and I won't argue.

No, I'm not the argueing type. Actually I would've also said that it is a matter of opinion. I guess it's because of my love of Manga and Anime. ;D

I think you should change the nose structure, I really dislike that kind of noses xD.
About the shading, I have nothing to say but... PERFECT.
But maybe you should change the colors, pink vs grey isn't really catchy, sorry. And also, they seem a bit close x_x, anyways I'm really bad at handrawing compared to you. You're really good, keep up the good work.
