Decided to set up a topic exclusvly for E3 accouncements, footage and screenshots, so we don't get over flooded.

Stuff that has intrested me most:
Super Paper Mario (Gamecube) A new NGC title? Brilliant! Also, this has everything I liked about Paper Mario (the style) and obmits the things I did'nt like (the fact that it was an RPG) as it's in fact a very nice looking 2D platformer with Mario, Peach and Bowser playable. There's even giant NES sprites in the trailer, for some odd but funky reason.
DK Bongo Blast: A new gamecube title using those wonderful bongos! And it's not a music game, more of a racer. Great to see Ninty ain't leaving the NGC completely in the dust.
The Nintendo Wii trailers: At last we have a new Mario 3D adventure (Super Mario Galaxy), there's a breif clip of the Sonic title, ExciteTruck looked like my kind of game (monster trucks with OTT rockets blasting across constantly deforming terrian? Hells yeah) and Metriod 3 and Red Steel looked great also. Some of the games look simplitic, but this is all about the gameplay, baby.
Pac-Man World Rally: Ok, so it's a Mario Kart clone, but there's one reason to at least watch the trailer: You can play the katamari guy in it! And the dinosaur from DigDug! Shame there's no sign of a Mario Kart: Arcade port for the Gamecube, though.
Sensible Soccer 2006: I remember my dad always hogging the Amiga because of tis game. Glad to see they've kept it to the same kind of style the original was, rather than just going for the realistic style every soccer game has. The characters close up look like they have a big heads cheat on XD
I'm surprised by how little PSP stuff has been released so far. Oh well.

Here are the most notable changes from the article:
A speaker is now built-in to the controller to use in tandem with the rumble feature during gameplay
Button change: "select" now has the image of an arrow on it that's curved counterclockwise, similar to those seen in the refresh icon on a web browser.
Button change: "home" now has the image of a house on it, similar to one you'd see in a Web browser.
Button change: "start" now has two horizontal bars on it that look like the "pause" icon on a music or movie player.
Button change: "a" and "b" are now "1" and "2."
The "nunchaku" has a more streamlined shape and features a tweaked button design.

New PS3 controller loses DualShock vibration :mad:
"Pursuant to the introduction of this new six-axis sensing system, the vibration feature that is currently available on DUALSHOCK and DUALSHOCK 2 controllers for PlayStation and PlayStation 2, will be removed from the new PS3 controller as vibration itself interferes with information detected by the sensor."

God Of War II = Wahey, more RIDICULOUSLY over the top violence with huge knives on the ends of chains being weilded by an acrobatic motherfucker. Can't wait.
Zelda = :D Fucking props to that guy for saying "Wii" seriously. Good to see I'm not the only one saying "Wii" as though it is an awesome spoken battlecry :D

Hardly. Not everyone likes RPG's or can be arsed to get stuck into them, so a paper mario Platformer is a great idea, IMO.

Right after seeing the next gen Sonic game and Metal Gear Solid 4 I've decided I'll be getting a PS3........that is when its become that little bit cheaper.
Also looking forward to Phantasy Star Universe and Tales of the abyss.

Oh dear, after seeing more of the Sonic tralier....it seems Shadows back, and you get to play with him in an amoured car, and that White hedgehog you see isn't really Super Sonic, rather a whole new character thats searching for the Ibliss trigger. Oh and Doctor Eggman gets a redesign (thats fitting of a darker Sonic style) and looks like Sonic's out to protect a Princess Ellise (who's human by the way) though still think the game looks awesome.

The Wii is looking too good to be true.
AND they're displaying the gun on what looks like a giant E.
I didn't actually notice the gun and thought "What the hell is that, and why does it look like an Ecstasy pill? ...Oh wait, it's got a cool gun on it as well!"

Highlight of this E3 so far: Seeing Miyamoto pacing around like a prat on stage with Mr. TAKING NAMES AND MAKING GAMES playing tennis on the Wii. Classic.
Also, IGN are stating that they heard Ninty mencion a demostartuion of a new DUCK HUNT game today.

New Smash Bros. Check out the list of new characters, then look at those screens and watch the movies. Holy, holy fuck.
I never thought Nintendo could outdo Smash Bros Melee, but this is the best video game trailer ever.

Also, Link looks really out of context compared to the other characters. It's kinda wierd. Still, it looks awesomely done. The part with Snake was pretty unexpected, but definitely funny, and awesome. It makes me sad that I'm probably not going to get the Wii until long after it comes out, though.

Most excited about
1) The Wii in general- This might possibly be the best computer ever.
2) Next gen Sonic, despite it just being a rushed souped up version of a seven year old game, and includes YET ANOTHER new bloody character
3) The ludicrous amount of DS games- GIVE MORE CASTLEVANIA TO ME
4) The Wii's super mario- "That looks fucking well ace"
5) The PS3 in genral - "it costs a truckload, but holy hell, games!"
6) Metal Gear Solid 4 - This game kicks so much ass, even Raiden looks cool.
7) God of War 2 - Shit yes. Making brutal violence fun and original, and excessively difficult. This game is going to kick ass.
