Me? Currently watching my entire Nightmare on Elm Street Boxset. I've had it since Christmas, and ive been meaning to watch it all.

I went to see "Thank you for Smoking" last night. I'm anti smoking, and I still found it hilarious as what, as it attacks both sides. So I reccomend this movie to all.

I'm watching Aeon Flux right now in class. Oddly, I'm in my Animation II class, where I use LightWave for modeling and such, and the movie's special effects were made with LightWave.

That was unnecesary. I was just letting people who may not have wanted to go to the movie because of distaste for smoking know that it was OK to go. And that hurt, because I have a father that smokes. Not to mention the thousands of people that don't smoke and die from it, which would include people I knew.
I understand why you would say that, but think of other peoples' situations before you insult them that way. If you go up to a kid with brain cancer and start making fun of how cancer patients are bald, then I don't think he or she'll laugh. Yes, people who smoke are idiots, but that doesn't mean they deserve death.
Aaa-nyway... I'm gonna go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail now.

Finished the Elm Street box set a while ago, just finished watching Bad Taste.
Cracking gory classic from Peter Jackson (Of LOTR fame.)
Anyone whose even remotely interested in gory movies should go out and buy this baby. :p
Now watching Willow, an wildly underrated film that im sorta glad Lucas hasn't ruined by "upgrading it for this generation".

I watched the remake of Assault on Precinct 13. Whilst i thought it was alright, i know i'll like the original better.
Watched a bit of Pearl Harbour too but lost interest along the way.

Saw X-men 3 today. It wasn't bad in my opinion. A bit rushed here and there. There was a humourous Easter egg if you listen carefully.

I've otherwise been watching spaghetti westerns as of recent, namely the magnificent 7 and Alamo. Mag7 was a goodun. Alamo was alright but i didn't like certain spoiler related material about it, because even though it's based on a historical event it felt like they were going to build it up towards something different.
The good the bad and the ugly is still my favourite western at this moment.

I'm not sure if they're going to do another X-men. They might touch on the Apocalypse dude but i doubt it.

Been watching the Batman quadtrility.
First Batman: Awesome. Jack Nic' is surpsingly good as the Joker.
Batman Returns: Brillenence, despite the Pengiun Attack at the end. Catwoman is offically the hottest "furry" (girl dresses up and acts like a cat, and acts all over sexed, what else could I call her) ever.
Batman Forever: Tacky, but watchable. Best part is the Riddler.
Batman and Robin: ARGH MY EYES. Not even Arnie can save this flick from sheer godawfullness.

Last thing i watched? CSI classic. This fortune teller got shot, under all the circumstances she predicted someone else to suffer.
Also included extortion, bodies buried in septic tanks, and dried bat.

Watched the last movie on my Nightmare on Elm Street Boxset (not New Nightmare, but Freddy's Dead.)
Regretted it. Horrible movie, not even the deaths were worth watching it for.
Death by stretching-nails-across-chalkboard?
Not as a funny or cool as it sounds.
The especially shitty effects (even for a low-budget horror, and really didn't do the earlier titles justice at all) didn't help either.

Last movie I saw was The Da Vinci Code. I didn't know that Jean Reno was in it, but it seems like ever since Onimusha 3 came out (though I didn't play it) I can recognize his face. Besides, his last three roles I know of (Onimusha 3, Pink Panther, Da Vinci) have basically been the same thing: French Policeman. I've got the Elm Street Boxset too, but I haven't seen all of them.

Well true, but I still preferred the original Japanese voices and the subtitles. It's been sad that in order to keep the english voices fluid with the movie, and to clean it up, the orginal lines were modified.

If you watch something in Japanese first, you'll prefer the Japanese.
If you watch something in English first, you'll prefer the English.
I suppose you watched the japanese dub first then?
Well, because the Japanese language is so much different to ours, some lines would sound dull or make less sense when directly translated, so by modiflying, all they are doing is making the lines sound more english than a direct translation would. Some people are just too fussy about dubs, IMO. I personally think all the Ghibli dubs have een quality, which they should be as they have a great team managing the dubbing, lead by Pixar staff.
It's true what Aki says, though. If you watch something hundreds of times in one way, watching it the other takes getting used to. Excel saga sounded indentical to me in sub and dub, though.

The only Ghibli dub I dont like is the second dub of Laputa. Which in itself is a good dub (Woo, Mark Hammil) but
A) Casting James Van Der Beek (urgh) as a kid = No
B) I have all the lines of the original dub burned in my mind!

Sunday I watched Manhunter. The first Hannibal Lector film.
Yesterday I watched Red Dragon, the remake of that film.
Can't decide which I prefer. I mean Manhunter has William Petersen. But Red Dragon has Anthony Hopkins.
ManHunter has a far cooler climax, but Red Dragon's love story is spread out to be more believable.

There's nothing wrong with the voices at all unless you've heard the Japanese ones, since you've heard them first, you'd prefer them. So tip, if your going to listen to a series in English, don't watch the Japanese one and you'll be perfectly fine with it.

Casino Royal. Daniel Craig is a kick-ass James Bond. My mom, who is totally biased in Sean Connery's favor, says she thinks he's as good a James Bond. I might even agree. The movie's great, and anyone who says that "Teh new jams bond sux lol" can go bugger off.

Naruto and bleach. I like the death stuff in naruto which bleach never has...barely none dies WTF!!. I like bleach becuase of the blood and gore and the big boobs...which naruto lacks.
