They've really screwed up now. They say serpent was at the event which killed aile/vent's mom which was 10yrs prior to the beginning. They then seem to infer that serpent's also human. If ZX takes place 100yrs after Z then Serpent couldn't be human and it's pretty obvious that only a Human could use a Model. Serpent and Girouette have the same red triangle on their foreheads and they say that Giro's a human cause if you look at reploids that still have the reploid look to them, though prairie is the exception to that. So if Serpents human than how could he have existed almost 100yrs ago when Ciel and the Guardian troops she brought with her found the remnent of Ragnarok, AKA Biometal W/V. It makes no sense at all especially if he is human cause he's in a cutscene pic with Ciel though it's hard to tell that ciel's in the pic as the text box covers her head mostly making it looks like the rest of her is part of the background

I was under the impression that everybody with a red triangle on their forehead is a reploid. That's what the red triangles mean. And who says only humans can use biometals?

Aile/Vent and Giro use the biometals and are human. They never really mention wether or not serpent is a human or not. Besides, prairie dosen't have a triangle on her head last i checked. Neither did the original Guardians, Harpuia, leviathan, etc.

Actually, intelligent reploids are now considered human. This means, even though Serpent and Giro are, in fact, machinery, they are still considered human. Any reploid with a non-human form is still a reploid, or a maverick.

About Prairie, play Vent's story. She admits she's a reploid after you fight Prometheus.

To explain how Serpent was alive those hundreds of years ago: From the sound of it, the tech that makes reploids human was developed recently in the game, so Serpent could have been a reploid with the Guardians before he was converted into a reploid/human hybrid.

He's just meant to look like Zero just like aile/vent resemble X somewhat

Giro does turn into a Cyber-Elf, so he could be a reploid. And Prairie does have the triangle. You just usually can't see it under her hat. In her mugshots it's barely visible.
