So anyway, last night during a bout of nostalgia, I was playing the Lost Levels Segment of Super Mario All-Stars. (Now before we go on any further, I must mention that the Lost Levels are harder than the regular Mario games.) Anyway, as I was playing, I suddenly began asking myself," What if a sawed off shotgun was available in any Mario game?" That would kick ass if Mario went into the Mushroom Kingdom with a shotgun! No more running around jumping on koopas! You could easily blow their assses away with a 12-gauge Shotgun with unlimited ammo!
Now the question, if there things you wished that existed in video games, what would they be and why?

Because there isn;t enough shot gun action games already, of course! It would make perfect sense if Mario had one! YEAH!

A game with a DECENT storyline, plot and twists........oh wait there is one, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver Trilogy, but thats the only one that has a decent one!

There's only two Soul Reaver games.
Two Soul Reaver, two Blood Omen, and Defiance which counts as both (Seeing as you play as Kain and Raziel)
I think that Shadow of the Colussus had a pretty good plot, storyline, and twists.
More Colussus killing.
So people basicilly want just more of the same as we get mostly in games now anyway?

Still waiting for a game involving zombies with chainsaws (Resi 4 doesn't count. They aint zombies) and a game with GWAR, which will undoubtedly be the best and goriest game ever and will signal the end of all violent game clones, now that the magnum opus of slaughter has been unleashed upon the world.
Which would rock. You'd get mindless violence of unrivalled proportions, with enough satirical banter and hillarious facetious rhetorical bullshit to keep you with a grin on your face during the carnage, and you wouldn't have to shudder with disdain everytime someone makes a new fucking GTA clone.
And plus Gor-Gor would be a boss.

Anyway, I'd like to see a game like GTA but the twist is... you have to be nice to people. Help old grannies across the road, give people lifts, helping out hobo's and just doing good deeds. Pretty much the exact opposite of what everyone else in this thread has said.
Can't see it getting made though...

We need a tsunami of "Games That Are Frigging Goregous To Look At, And Require No More Than Two Or Three Buttons And Your Direction Buttons To Play"
Games like Klonoa or Ikaruga fit happily into this category.
Klonoa- Lovely graphics, ace design, badass music, and just a button to use your ring (to inflate enemies, grab hold of floating things, etc) and a button to jump. Superb.
Ikaruga- The kind of game you read about in holy texts. There are Touhou games that are easier to complete on normal mode than Ikaruga on easy mode with the maximum amount of starting lives.
Controls- Move, shoot, change colour. Perfect.
Destruction has rarely been prettier.
Katamari- Roll a giant ball over shit in order to make the ball larger in order to roll over larger stuff in order to consume the entire planet.
Controls- Analogue sticks move the fiendish brightly coloured ball of oblivion about.
Incidentally, just TRY to do cooperative mode on that without either of you wanting to beat the other one senseless. :g-winky:
All three of these games have (well, Klonoa looked badass for it's time. It's showing it's age a little now. Klonoa 2 looks BEAUTIFUL though) graphics sexier than a mountain made out of tits, while on an acid trip, and play even better.
Take notes Namco, bring Klonoa back you wankers!

Not at all though I always threaten people though but that can't be related to me playing games like GTA.
Well... let me think...
There are a lot of games that it would kick serious ass if you just just duck.. I mean seriously. In some games, the boss will back you into a corner and fire off this unavoidable blast that is easily enough off the ground for you to duck under... but noooo... ducking's against the rules.
But what games need nowadays, is more innovative gameplay. Games like Loco Roco and Katamari Damacy.

Okay I am going to say the ONE THING no one has said that makes mine cool........I would like the games to be FUN! Tell me, how many good games are out there now? Not many. If all games had fun, then THAT would rule.
