I was looking at my Dreamcast and I thought 'God, what a neutral color it is.' So I've finally decided to mod my Dreamcast.
Thanks to this website (http://devcast.dcemulation.com/) I've got of to a good start. Nothing broken... yet.
The only problem I have now is to decide what color to paint it.
Any idea's for some really cool paint schemes? Or has anyone modded their consoles before? If you have any advice I'd really appreciate it!

Oh, by the way. This is what it looks like now... :Link: (http://img70.imageshack.us/img70/3323/pict0928dv7.jpg)

If I was to mod one of my Dreamcast's, I'd probably paint it up in the traditional SEGA blue, then replace the red LED with a blue one to match. My favorite one on that website has got to be the 'DC Viper' design =D

Bugger.
I've painted my Dreamcast and it doesn't look that bad but I've run into a snag. When I put all of the gubbings in to the case I had four screws left over... and now the sound is crackly. Gameplay and graphics are fine, it just sounds like a amiga now!

When I've charged by camera I'll post a photo of the case.

Eep. Something must of gone wrong with the re-assembling. Did you use the last part of this http://devcast.dcemulation.com/mods/paint/paint.php as a reference?

Well, I've bothered to charge up my camera. Here are two quick photos I snapped.

Considering it's the first ever time I've used a spray paint can I think I've done well. A bit patchy in places but those are the breaks. About the sound? I'm going to wait untill I see another Dreamcast at a boot fair and buy that.
