Does anyone know a good free paint program that would be good for making a comic? It also has to be compatible with a windows 98

Uhh. Paint. If you want text bubbles without using a circle tool, use Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

You could always try GIMP (because Photoshop is far from "free").

But seriously, MS Paint isn't good enough?

Yildun scanner 6.00 (http://www.download-by.net/other/software/10050,yildun-scanner.html). Found it fairly quickly in Google.

Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) is what I use for everything, except for when it's simpler just to use paint.

You deleted Paint? Hm, I had no idea you could delete default Windows programs.

Unfortunately for you, I don't think there is any way to download it as it comes default with Windows.

Edit: Are you sure you didn't just delete the shortcut? Try searching for it with the search/find feature.

How about I email a copy of Paint from my computer to you? However I can't guarantee that it'll work snce I'm using WinXP.

Okay, it's sent. Too bad Gmail doesn't allow the transferring of executable files as now I had to use my very old Juno account.

Hopefully it works.

Can't you upload it onto a server or zip it up? Is it version specific, like 98 and XP?
