Hi, attempting Sprite art again...
Below is a new concept I'm working on, they are called the Quasis.

Here I will be posting the different Quasi Nations, they will be based on real civilizations and empires, mostly the interesting ones first.
So here it is, the basic Quasi... Don't know what style this is, not really a Megaman one (Not on purpose anyway)

:) Thanks for that, though I don't think I will be making a full sheet for any of them. Though here's the updated version of the Quasi (10% bigger!) the joints and arm bits were too small to be fit into the old sprite in detail.
The other attachment is the Petrified Tesla, the Quasis power source.
Another important item I haven't made yet is the SentiMetal, this metal is extremely lightweight and durable and can contort to any shape when exposed to radio waves (Quasis' Antenna) so it's the perfect material for buildings and weapons.
I think I'll be spriting maybe Chinese and Mongolian-esque Quasis next...
As in the Rich vs Poor. Tactics vs. Brute Force. (I know real Chinese and Mongolian aren't actually like that, but this is mostly just for the costumes.

It looks nice, but perhaps you could make the legs a little thicker? It doesn't look able to support itself, really.
Update, took MetoolX597's suggestion and thickened the leg thigh things, but not too much or else it will look just like MMX. Still looks quite thin, keep in mind that the top half is pretty much floating, it really doesn't need support (Think Swordman)
Items (Left to right):
Petrified Tesla - Solid Tesla, main energy source for all Quasis.
Magna Leaf - A cheaper less dense energy source. Grown fairly quickly and is often subsituted for Tesla in poorer nations.
Cosmic Gem - Releases radiation, when in contact with Quasis it boosts their physical capabilities. Prolonged exposure wears out the ore and permanantly increases Quasi strength and speed. When stuck onto SentiMetal the metal becomes harder and denser, primarily used for battle.
SentiMetal - Extremely lightweight and durable metal. It can contort to any shape when exposed to radio waves (Quasis' Antenna) so it's the perfect material for buildings and weapons. (Imagine metal putty you can control with your mind XD)
Forget what I said about the Chinese and Mongols, they will be like Knights vs Brutes.

Just one more item to add.
Petrified Ameriolate Acid - Liquidize inside SentiMetal and you will get the heavy high-density metal that the Quasi shell is made out of, a nice feature is that it changes the colour of the SentiMetal to the first colour it touches.
The Noble Nation of Quasis (http://ifs1.imagefly.info/v/f7/gif/NobleQuasis.html)
A rich prosperous nation, contains many Tesla lakes and SentiMetal Mines, small amounts of Cosmic Gem clusters have been found, but many have been left unexcavated, no natural source of Ameriolate Acid, but small amounts are bought from neighbouring nations.
Consists of the Scout(Normal) Quasi, Gatherer Quasi and the Knight Quasi.
Scout Quasi - Seeker and gatherer of Tesla sources, on occasion they find SentiMetal Mines and Cosmic Gem clusters. Minimal combat abilities.
Gatherer Quasi - A miner for the SentiMetal Mines and Cosmic Gem clusters. The claws are only for holding on to SentiMetal and Gems, they are made with low quality SentiMetal, so the claws cannot be used for combat. Pick-axe can be used for combat but is only slightly better than the fist.
Knight Quasi - Medium armor around the joints, head and abdomen. The sharp plate on one of the hands is made stronger with a Cosmic Gem, used for defence but can be used for a light weapon. The sword is also made stronger with a Cosmic Gem and can easily slice through normal Quasi plating. High combat capabilities.
The Barbaric Nation of Quasis (http://ifs1.imagefly.info/v/41/gif/BarbaricQuasis.html)
A contrast to the Noble nation, very poor, but their land is extremely fertile, Magna Plantations can be found just about everywhere, Cosmic Gems can easily be found under any camp sites and an Ameriolate Acid source is closely guarded inside the camps.

Brute Quasi - First Quasi to use a Ameriolate Acid and SentiMetal plating. The Ameriolate Acid makes the SentiMetal the Barbaric's Nation colour, denser and heavier. The Brute Quasi uses an extremely concentrated SentiMetal Ball, a Heavy Weapon, it is swung around vigorously, attacks with momentum. On the other hand there is the double-headed axe, Medium-Heavy weapon. Extreme combat capabilities, but moves very slow.
Overview
One Knight Quasi Vs. One Brute Quasi, Knight wins.
Three Knight Quasis vs. Two Brute Quasis, Brute wins.
Six Knight Quasis vs. Four Brute Quasis, Knight wins.
Nine Knight Quasis vs. Eight Brute Quasis, Brute wins.

I like the flame-guy's animation. However, the flames on his head should move as well.
Whoa!! A reply, well I would do the animated flame but I really can't do any animated flames, the still flames are crappy enough as it is.
nice sprites i like the nimations all i have to say is make the electric one look more electric in the animation and not as mush as it is shattering
Funny you say that, my first draft was of him shattering out of his shell. But the flying pieces weren't very well sprited.
That fllying guys wing at his head could use some more work..
Old design flaw, I'm not fixing it since I'm just remaking the old crappy frankens into slightly less crappy 32-Bits

Those are really good. I should try 8-bit myself.
For the robot masters excluding gutsman they are all minor edits.
Sheesh, does the word "Custom" not mean anything anymore, been replaced completely with "Scratch" I see, Bombman excl. the head, Fireman excl. the fire, and Cutman excl. the head are all "scratch" therefore not minor edits. Gutsman, Iceman and Elecman are the Neo Geo Sprites, I didn't say I made them, I just shaded them. Also, Protoman.EXE and Megaman.EXE are scratch too.

Attached are an extended Fireman sheet and animations from said sheet, they are a WIP(Work in Progress) and are PD if anyone cares - I went for an 8-bit look but it matches the Neo Geo Pocket style a bit better(Bigger boots etc.) but has way too many colours for it to be NGP.

The contrast improves its realistic features. Well I mean it doesn't look as flat anymore. I really like it.
I like that version more, though the other one is nice too. It doesn't look flat anymore.

The colors are good, but they make him look pretty dull... Mario has a lot more brightness to him, doesn't he?
But that looks like the Mario in Brawl and looks reallly nice.
I tried as well as I could to put in as much detail in the regular sprite without shading, maybe I'm just better at shading than outlining =P
and DZ, what zyros said, I used his BRAWL colours. I think they made him less bright to balance with the other players, ie Link has duller green than he did in SSB
Well, in Brawl they tried to bring out more realistic colors for their clothing and that's why the colors aren't so bright. I prefer them but I'll always welcome the classic colored, bright-ass characters with open arms.

I BRAWL coloured the rest of the sheet. Also shortened his hair as it seems he doesn't have the long hair in BRAWL, can't really tell though.

It's really a green Model X with a custom head, custom shield, and blaster(based from those one eyed purple things' blasters)
I definitely like it. But, where's his other hand when he's dashing to the right?

I think i confused some other enemy for the Joe.
Possibly its the X1 giant machine that guards one of the capsules.
PS. Maybe you could perhaps make those forms and call them double rock ons.
