Just thought i'd let people know - there are people from different sides of the Planet using this forum. As i've said several times - I'm British, and theres several other Britians here too.
Just to get the point across -
Theres English English (the "correct" English :g-Gaga:) and American English.
Both use different spellings.
This means several members (including myself) will be spelling words like "Colour", "Armour", "Realising", "Sabre", "Centre", etc.
Don't bother trying to point out spelling mistakes that sound damn close to the actual word - because it's probably correct.
Right, that clears that up then. If anyone wants the full list of spelling and speaking differences, I bet theres one I could find on the internet somewhere..
w00t, then I've been using correct English since sixth grade, 'cause I use the European spelling! Yay! Now if only spell check will realize that and stop jumping down my throat every time I write "neighbour."

I think we'll all be alright so long that we don't use ghetto talk or l33t wording. That would be real disrespectful, especially if someone who don't speak english as their first language comes along (such as my uni buddy if she shows up).
On the other hand it's bit weird how some folks can be so whiney about the occasional typo. :g-think:

Ever since I started doing that in the past, people having been trying to point out all of my errors. :p
I have a feeling you do something on purpose there SC....
And I'm surpraised that the word chav doesn't appear there, what, isn't it used as much as I thought it is?
