Whilst nothings gone off, it's something we sure as hell don't need.
I really hope this doesn't cause too many flight delays. My girlfriend from Denmark is planning to come to the United States next Friday for her birthday, and i'd hate it if her flight was cancelled due to this terrorism paranoia.
I'm pretty sure things will be okay though... According to AOL News, mostly flights going between Britain and the US have been shut down, and flights from other countries are just getting tighter security.

I dunno, looking at the BBCs pictures - flights are being cancelled all over the board.
Marvelous... my mates 2 minutes away from the house in High Wycombe where they made one arrest - apparently there's helicopters, vans, cars, police tape, and some guys in suits and shades just arrived in an escorted car - government agencies are getting involved.
According to my mom, whos been watching this all morning, there have been 21 arrests already.

I have a funny feeling about this whole thing. I sound like a conspiracy obsessed ignorant idiot, but I dunno. It think it's very plausible, and probably did happen, but part of me thinks that it was either exaggerated, we're not getting the whole story, or something of that nature. Bleh, just a feeling, not saying that's what it is at all... It's just that everything's so vague... And I really don't trust the American Government. I suppose that they do need to be, because they can't give out too much information, but meh, whatever. I'm just an odd person. It's probably real.

uhhh..... okay, but it was kinda the British government that were the ones behind the investigation with American intelligence and officials being pretty far to the rear...... though it was most likely exaggerated to some degree just because any government likes to make themselves seem that much more effective.
well, if something like this ever happens and you don't know, just look out the window and if you see any of us americans pushing people out into the streets for strip searchs then you know it happened.
Damn. I hate the world.
Well, you live in it. :g-winky:
ZOMG BLAME THE AMERICANS FOR I DUNNO MAYBE THEY ARE HIDING STUFF.
Shut up.
What I'm really not keen on is how this has brushed the entire Lebanon crisis neatly under the carpet...
Even though it's bordering on ridulous how twitchy we've all become, if we didn't do anything we could have had planes falling into cities this Wednesday, which would fuck the world up rather a bit more, which is something we don't need right now.
Get back to talking about old videogames that rip of Astro Boy now!
What is the world coming to I seriously think at the rate were going that I won't live to the age of 40.
