Megaman X Collection

Alright I have a few questions. Who's idea was it to make the cool 2 player racing game unlockible and not be there right at the beginning *Stares at Ace* But anyway, how many of you guys have unlocked it? I just finsihed unlocking it this morning.

As for MMXC, I don't actually own it (shock horror!), mostly because I already own the originals, barring X2. So the import costs will be far too much for just one game to warrent me buying it.

I've been meaning to get this.... but as far as the racing game is concerned i had the original game for the playstation. If i remember rightly it was called megaman battle and chase. However i reckon the reason capcom made it unlockable is because they wanted Megaman fans in the USA (that didn't get the original) to actually play through the other games first.

Yeah, it's Battle and Chase. I unlocked it a couple of days after I got the X Collection, which was quite some time ago. In all honesty, it's not nearly as fun as I expected it to be.

I find it ok till the last couple of levels, thats when i want to throw the disc out of the window (like i usually want to with most racing games except the burnout series)

Don't you have to beat X1-3 to beat it? I got close to beating 3...

Yeah, 1 to 3. It was hard and I had a little help but I got it.

Got it, unlocked it, already beat it. SPOILER: Wily is a b**** when you race against him on his track.

I can't figure out how to unlock the the image set 2. I've beaten all the games but the bonus one. Anyone know how? (also, thats the last thing I need to unlock)

I think that the collection was poorly made. I got this game the night before it came out and was already ranting about how it could of been improved (I can usually get games before the release date, perks of working at Bestbuy). I still can't figure out how to unlock some of the extras, not like they aren't anything that I haven't seen/heard already though...

The unlockables are concept art, music, and "hints" which are really cheats on how to get secret stuff we already know about!(though I like Battle and Chase)

Yeah, Battle and Chase was pretty much the only thing I wanted, besides
X2, which was hard to find, I got X3 as a birthday present a long time ago and I bought a version from a video rental place that was going under, so I never unwrapped the X3, it has to be worth alot. But yeah, I saw X Collection as a little bit of a dissapointment... And my manager gave me the Nubysoft Megaman X "special edition" controller for free, and the buttons keep sticking becuase of the way it was manufactured... I should of got the PS2 version of the game, that way my thumbs and right index finger would be accustomed to charging the buster and jump-dashing at the same time. Oh well, at least they made the promise and came throught with it... (Thinks of Megaman Anniversary Collection for GBA and coughs*

You know what, on the box it said that the controller was the "perfect companion"!

I liked it becuase it was smaller, it helped with the cahrged up jump-dash technique, but the A button used to get stuck inside of the controller all the time, and I believe it still does...

BUT!!!!! we do own battle and chase it was ment for JAP and EUR but no MMXC
