Dead Eye's sprites

[Dead Eye]

Wassup all? It is I, Dead Eye. (Formerly Dead Eye 935 on Megaman Community) I'm back. After suffering through a major PC meltdown, (it reset itself....) I'm slowly building back my sprite collection. Thankfully, I had a good number of them on my photobucket. Anyways, here are (some) of mah sprites.

After going through a major hard time with these, I think I got 'em right. After 6 months of spriting I thought I might try some females. The blue-haired one is Amber, and the blonde is Kairi. 16-bit. Full Scratch.

Me in MM7 style. I originally had me in a red jacket, but now I'm in my everyday wardrobe. (literally, EVERY DAY) 16-bit. Heavy edit.

I think the female sprites could use slightly deeper skin shading, but they look great anyway. :) Your MM7 persona looks cool too; it's modified enough so that it doesn't resemble Mega Man, which is always a nice thing.

Yeah i was thinkin they could use deeper skin shading as well, but after a week of work on them, I'm now focusing on my MM7 persona. Soon to come: a ridiculously huge, oversompensating sword. Gotta love 'em

I added a blue and white cloak to me. And of course a big sword. Gotta have a big sword.

Expanding a bit on the cloak idea, I made Shadowy Dude. He's............shadowy, and uh............mysterious...........

Made the skin color a little deeper. My friend says the breasts should be bigger, and down more, but what he refuses to accept is that these aren't proportional. Small body, big head. I guess I thinks heads are as big as bodies............

Revamped myself s liitle bit. Got rid of the sword. Messed with the hair a bit. And added a hood to the robe. C+C?

Tis Commando Penguin, leader of the Penguin Army. Their base is located deep within the icy ground of Antarctica. There he plots on how to take over the world with his massive army......of kamikaze penguins. Full Scratch, 8-bit, C+C is greatly appreciated.

All of your megaman 7 style sprites lack neck. Their mouth ie on the same pixel line as the top of their shoulders. That is no good.
If you really want to know how bad that is, go to a mirror and lower your head until it is at the same level as your shoulders. After about 5 secodns its going to hurt after a minute tis going to hurt a lot.
A better idea is to remove all of their heads, even out the shoulders and place the heads back on with the bottom of the head's outline piselline even with the shoulders and placing a pixel of hinted neck behind the head.

Ah, I see....I used that same idea with my female sprites. Guess I never noticed that my MM7s didn't have necks.
