XD the comic is nothin to the game! the game was highly addictive but was so supprised it didnt have any age rating to it 0_o looking at the vid it shuldve been at least a 15!!

Mind you it's just occured to me that the comic of Mortal Kombat wasn't very violent either. Methinks my theory about fatalities being a visual extra rather than a gameplay necessity has been enforced.

MM games (the original series anyway) don't take too long to play once you know what you're doing. It takes me about an hour tops to beat some of the older titles, (newer titles - hour and and a half).
Exceptions are Megaman 8 (which is insanely hard), the Gameboy titles OTHER than MMII (which are insanely hard), and Megaman and Bass (which is also, insanely hard.).

Eternal Champions: Bloodier than Mortal Kombat? Possibly. Better than Mortal Kombat? Not a chance, even though I don't like MK much either. What I find so odd is how both francises were blatently not for kds, even though they did plenty to promote the, for kids, with the comics and cartoons and all. Mind you, they've done the same with movies a lot around that time as well (Robocop, Terminator, Elm Street etc), mainly because they knew kids would watch them anyway. I know I did, although I've never liked things as overly gory as Eternal Champions, which was a shit rip-off game anyway.
