Yeah, on lumpy, muddy unstable terrain that mechs gonna have trouble, particularly since it's a sitting duck standing tall like that. Could be like the somme 1916 when tanks broke down in he battlefield.
Won't be seeing Mechs on the field soon. Sorry to spoilsport.
well...let's see...hardly moving weapons, slow movement, unstableness, non-unlimited ammo....yup, is useless...
Am I the only one who thinks of starwars when I see this... just in super slow-mo?
I think these japanese inventors need to stop watching anime... giant mech suits... bleh.

Robots will be eternal slaves. *ducks in Met hat* I can't let them find me.
This is why we don't have better weapons. Cuz they are making Mech Suits. What's wrong with making an AK48?
Why can't the japanese reproduce these smaller robots on a larger scale? All they'd need to do is make them able to accept remote commands for different movements from a detached location, while calculating balance differences for weaponry and such... They could do so much better!
The japanese have no vision...

The machine itself is actually a good starting point. Just stabilize it with heavier parts (And more powerful hydraulics to compensate), make it FASTER. Like A LOT FASTER, and you've pretty much got a walking tank. If they were going to be used in actual combat though, they'd need a lot thicker armor: that stuff looked like light plastic... That or they just polished it a lot...
